Jesse spends the summer of 2010 as one of the top pitchers for the Greeley (Colorado) Grays.
The Greeley Grays are a
member of the fairly new Mountain Collegiate Baseball League
which consists of teams from Northern Colorado and
Southern Wyoming. The MCBL is a "Premier" summer league within the prestigious National
Baseball Congress (NBC).
In this game Jesse goes 7 complete innings and gives up only 1 run to the Laramie Colts. When he exits
the game Greeley is winning 2-1 and eventually win in 9 innings.
While Jesse plays summer collegiate baseball in Greeley we are fortunate to spend time with Alan and Cindy Hart
and their immediate family whom live near Loveland and Greeley Colorado. We spend nearly every weekend
during the 2010 summer visiting them riding in the Rocky Mountains and watching a lot of Greeley Grays baseball!

The 2010 Greeley Grays feature several drafted and DI college players and complete the regular season
with a franchise best 24-14 record. In 2010 the Grays become the first
ever MCBL representative into the NBC World Series being as the league only
recently joined the NBC. Jesse, who finishes the season second on his team in total innings pitched (51)
and first in strikeouts (46) is honored as his team's game one starting pitcher in the prestigious NBC World Series.
Here Jesse pitches 4 complete innings and gives up only 1 earned run with 4
strikeouts. Unfortunately the Grays eventually lose to a tough
St. Joseph, Missouri team. This awesome tournament concludes Jesse's
first full calendar year of playing college level baseball and he now
enters his highly anticipated sophomore year at FSCC.
